Use of Fingers in Moving Beads
Learning to use abacus/soroban to make calculations isn't hard at all. It has a simple systematic of bead and place values. However, in order to develop fast mental calculation skills, you need to learn the system of moving the beads with certain fingers or finger combinations while writing numbers on the abacus or erasing them from the abacus.
